 EMI1.1

 EMI1.1

Paintings between glass melted together are known. The usual enamel colors are used to produce these paintings. These colors are suitable
 EMI1.2
However, if the glasses have a lower degree of fluidity, such as B. hard glasses, then it is not possible to use these colors because they volatilize or at least run off at the high temperature to which the glasses must be exposed when melting together.

In order to be able to produce such paintings between glasses of a lower degree of fluidity, according to the invention, the color bodies used for painting are mixed with such an amount of hard glass pniver or the like that the melting temperature of the color melt that is formed is approximately the same as the melting temperature of the glass to be painted .

The process for making the painting is as follows: A completely blown and blown glass object, e.g. B. a bowl, is memait when cold. The type of application of the paint can be done in various ways, such. B. by brush, aerograph, stamp, transfer printing, etc. Before application, the color bodies are mixed with a flux, for example with hard glass powder, in such a way that the colors are somewhat more stringent than the glass to be painted. After painting the bowl, it is heated so high that it connects with a second bowl, which is blown into the first bowl in a liquid state. the colors are burned into the glasses.

When the two shells have melted together, the whole object is heated again and shaped as desired.

A complete merging of the colors with the glasses takes place while maintaining the original color image only if the colors and the glasses are exactly coordinated in their degree of fluidity, namely in such a way that the colors are always somewhat more strictly fluid than the glasses.
