  Artificial millstone.

In the production of artificial millstones, the problem becomes noticeable that the grinding mass is not sufficiently firmly connected to the filling mass. Due to the difference in the specific weights of these two masses, centrifugal forces of different magnitudes are generated when the stone rotates, which despite the existing chemical bond can cause these different bodies to loosen or detach from one another. According to the present invention, this overhang is eliminated by providing the former with concentric grooves at the junction of the grinding mass with the filling material, into which the filling material
 EMI1.1
are connected, which are provided with lateral extensions obtained from their material.

In the drawing, the subject matter of the invention is shown in an exemplary embodiment, namely FIG. 1 shows the grinding stone in an axial section and FIGS. 2 to 4 show the anchoring ring in detail.

The grinding mass 1 (Fig. 1) is. provided with concentric grooves 2 of triangular, trapezoidal or similar cross-section, in which the rings formed directly in the grooves during manufacture of the stone. 3 engage the filling compound. If the grooves 2 have a trapezoid or a right-angled triangle or the like as a cross-section, an annular surface 2 'of the groove 2 is always directed parallel to the axis of rotation of the stone and facing the periphery of the same, so that
 EMI1.2
To keep them away from one another, these masses are held together by concentric crimping rings J, which are molded half into the grinding mass and half into the filling mass.
