Die Erfindung betrifft Zahnbürsten, bei welchen das zum Putzen der Zähne mitbenutzte Zahnreinigungs- und Konservierungsmittel im hohlen Bürstenkörper und Bürstenstiel derart untergebracht ist, dass es während des Gebrauches der Bürste in der gewünschten Teilmenge durch die Bürste selbst den Zähnen und den Kiefern zugeführt werden kann.
Das Mittel selbst tat unter die Einwirkung einer Druckvorrichtung gestellt, welche es durch Öffnungen zwischen den Borsten zum Austritt bringt, während eine von der die Bürste führenden Hand zu betätigende Absperrvorrichtung die Austrittsöffnungen bedarfsweise freilegt oder aber verschliesst.
Erfindungsgemäss besteht die Druckvorrichtung aus einem unter Federdruck stehenden Kolben und die Abschlussvorrichtung für Austrittsöffnungen aus einem Schieber mit Durchhrechungen, der durch eine Feder in der Schliesslage erhalten bzw. in dieselbe rückgeführt wird.
Der Vorteil dieser Einrichtung liegt darin. dass ohne Zuhilfenahme der zweiten Hand und gleichzeitig während des Bearbeitung der Zähne und der Kiefer das Reinigungsmittel auf letztere aufgebracht werden kann und dass eben die Bürste selbst Aufbewahrungsraum für das Reinigungs- mittel ist, was besonders auf Reisen von Vorteil ist. weit dadurch die Mitnahme mehrerer zur
