Die Erfindung betrifft Matrizensetz- und Zeilengiessmaschinen, und zwar der in dem österreichisch-ungarischen Privilegium Rg. Bd. 40, S. 3867, beschriebenen Art mit mehreren Magazinen für je eine Schriftart. Im besonderen handelt es sich um eine Einrichtung zum Umschalten der Magazine, die zu diesem Zweck senkrecht oder angenähert senkrecht zu ihrer Deck-und Bodenplatte bewegt werden. Es sind bereits Maschinen der angegebenen Art bekannt geworden, bei denen die Magazine in einem Punkte oder aber in vier Punkten unterstützt werden. Zur Bewegung der Magazine gemäss der Erfindung werden Kurvenscheiben mit in den Seitenfächen angeordneten Nuten verwendet, die an den Stellen, an denen die Magazine in den ArbeitssteUungen auf ihnen aufliegen, mit gehorteten Einsatzstücken versehen sind, die bei der Montage genau fixiert werden, um die genaue Lage der Magazine in den Arbeltsstellungen zu sichern.
