     Die bisher gebräuchlichen,   aus Manilafasern, rohem Fell, Leinwand oder dgl. hergestellten Packungen zur Wasserabsperrung in Bohrlöchern werden mit der zugehörigen, hermetischen   Rohrkolonne   bis zur gewünschten Tiefe eingebaut, worauf die Rohrkolonne hochgezogen wird, damit die Packung sich in dem Bohrloch verbreitert und dieses abdichtet, indem die Oberkante der Packung auf vorspringende Unebenheiten der Bohrlochwandung stösst, welche die weitere Aufwärtsbewegung der Packung verhindern und dabei deren Verbreiterung herbeiführen. Infolgedessen ist die Stelle, an welcher die Abdichtung des Bohrloches erfolgt, vom Zufall abhängig.

   Dieser Übelstand wird gemäss vorliegender Erfindung dadurch vermieden, dass oberhalb der üblichen Packung ein an dem hermetischen Rohr längsverschiebbarer Ring mit seitlich abstehenden, federnden Flügeln angeordnet ist. welche beim   Emporziehen   der Rohrkolonne in die Wandung des Bohrloches eindringen, so dass durch den nun im Bohrloch festgestellten Ring beim weiteren Emporziehen der Rohrkolonne die Packung zusammengedrückt und bis zum dichten Anliegen an die Bohrlochwandung verbreitert wird.
