Rohrbruchventil.

Pipe rupture valve.
The invention relates to a pipe rupture valve which closes automatically both in the event of a break in the inflow line and in the outflow line and can also be operated manually.
Essentially, it consists in the fact that the piston forming the shut-off element is connected to a small, lower piston, which is movable in a cylindrical chamber located in the lower part of the pipe rupture valve, by means of a hollow rod that receives a piston that is immovably mounted in the housing.
The valve closes when the pressure drops. caused both by the dead weight of the shut-off element and by a constant excess of pressure in the firing direction and its lifting up on its seat is also secured by the liquid supplied above the shut-off element, whereas the opening of the shut-off element is caused by the liquid under the small piston and the chamber above the shut-off element is connected to the outside air through the outlet line.
In the drawings, an embodiment of such a pipe rupture valve is shown, namely FIG. 1 shows a vertical central section and FIG. 2 shows a section along the line X-X of FIG. 3 is a plan view or a section along the line Y-Y of FIGS. 2, 1

is drawn. Each of the chambers 31 and 32 is in communication with the distributor 3, 6, namely the chamber 31 through the line 34 (FIGS. 2 and 5) and through the line with the activation of a ball check valve 35, the chamber 32 through the line 36 ( Fig. 5) and through dif line 15 also with switching on a check valve.
The chambers 31 and 32 are also in communication with the chamber 37 below the piston 38, namely the chamber 37

is proportional, there would be a fear that possibly when the pressure is very high. the weight of the manure is insufficient to overcome the friction of its leather covering. In this case, the water pressure on the unloaded cross-section creates a force which, since it is proportional to the pressure, can overcome the resistance of the leather covering.
The piston 22 acts as a hydraulic brake when the piston 1 closes. As the water that is under the piston 22 in the lower cylinder 20, through a series of holes
