Zweiteiliger Schraubknopf.

Two-part screw button.
The invention relates to a two-part screw button and consists in the fact that a spring is fastened inside the hollow button disk and this lies against the end of the screw bolt, which is formed into a square, in order to prevent loosening of the screwed-together button parts.
It is noted, however, that securing devices of this type are already known in the case of two-part collar buttons and accordingly only the arrangement of such a spring securing device in a screw head is to be regarded as the invention.
The drawing shows a button designed according to the invention, namely in FIG. 1 in cross section and in FIG. 2 in horizontal section.
In a known manner, the button consists of a footplate part a and a head part b. The footplate part a has a threaded bolt c which can be screwed into an internally threaded sleeve d of the head part. The upper end of the bolt c protruding into the interior of the hollow button head b is one

a spring g is used, which presses itself against the square e when the button is closed, as shown in the drawing, thereby preventing the two parts a and b from being accidentally released automatically.
Instead of the spring g, in order to simplify the construction, the lower horizontal turn of the part b near the square e could be punched into a rag, which presses itself resiliently against the square e and serves the same purpose as the spring g.
For the purpose of sseftstigens the button, the footplate part a or its bolt c is pushed through the fabric i and then the head part b is screwed onto the bolt. As soon as the tip f moves into the interior of the part b, it pushes the spring g aside. so that it is pressed against the square e when the part b is screwed in. When the two parts a and b are screwed together, the fabric i is pressed between the plate-like parts h, whereby a tight fit of the button is achieved.
The two plates A., which have already been arranged in other screw knobs, ensure that the button has a large seating area. whereby a tearing away of the button together with the fabric pressed between the parts h from the rest of the fabric part is avoided.
