Wanzenfalle.
Man wird also oft leere Fallen ins Feuer werfen.

Bug trap.
The already existing snub traps made of paper or cardboard are based on the principle of offering the bugs artificial hiding places instead of the natural hiding places they would otherwise seek. They all consist of folded or rolled corrugated paper. The corrugated cardboard forms fine tubes. The bugs should crawl into these and stick to the adhesive there. After a while you have to throw the trap into the fire and replace it with a new one.
However, the composition of these traps has various flaws so that their intended purpose cannot really come into its own. Above all, there are only slip-in openings at the two ends of the roll, while the rest of the large surface has no openings. It is almost certain that the bugs do not get to the entrance openings when they crawl over the trap and crawl on again. In addition, the tubes of the corrugated cardboard are very thin, but very long in relation to this and, moreover, glued in the middle. You can neither see in nor through. It is also not possible to open the tubes and so you cannot cover yourself with it, oh bugs have caught. So you will often throw empty traps into the fire.
The necessity of burning the traps and replacing them with new ones also makes the device significantly more expensive.
These deficiencies have been completely eliminated in the subject matter of the invention: In addition, various advantages are added:
1. There are so many loopholes on the outside of the new trap that the bugs cannot avoid them when crawling over the trap.
2. There are also plenty of hiding spots inside the trap, which the bugs can easily access.
3. The main advantage, however, is that you can unfold and collapse the trap. You can lay open all hiding places, keep a thorough investigation and destroy the catch without damaging the trap itself.

A bedbug trap is best made of paper. Made of cardboard or any other suitable material and consists of a number of sheets connected to one another like an accordion.
The drawing shows the trap in several views: FIG. 1 shows a top view of the folded trap. Fig. II is a plan view of the opened trap and Fig. II! a perspective view of the half-opened trap. Fig. IV shows the case for Wanzenfallp.
