Isolator für elektrische Leitungen.
EMI1.1

Insulator for electric lines.
EMI1.1
This insulator is illustrated in the drawing in FIG. 1 in a top view, in FIG. 2 in a side view with an inserted cable and in FIG. 3 in a rear view. The insulator has the circular hole four the fastening screw in the middle and consists of a base 1 on which the roller itself, around which the cable is guided, is built.
On both sides of the roller, the abutments 2, 3 are arranged on the base in such a way that their support points for the cable are in one plane with the axis of the hole for the fastening screw. Lugs to prevent the cable from going up and from the device J

for the lines that reach at their highest points through one to the same height; Base approach are connected.
The cable inserted into the neck groove 5 thus formed receives: on the one hand such a bend that it is secured against sliding without external aids, while on the other hand the pressure due to the inclined planes 7: is transferred directly to the base during tensioning, so that the There is no risk of the abutment breaking off.
The raised neck groove and the lower abutment with the noses give the cable a curvature which on the one hand gives it a firm hold in the insulator and prevents it from sliding under the required tension, while on the other hand this also prevents the cable from being pulled out of the The roll falls out, although it is only simply inserted and otherwise not connected to the insulator.
It is beneficial to raise the individual parts of the roll. in connection with the abutments, to be structurally arranged against one another and against a dividing plane in such a way that the entire device can be manufactured with the aid of a single two-part die
