   Vorrichtungen der genannten Art sind z. B. die Wiensche Löschvorrichtung, die sowohl im Primarkreise, als auch im Sekundärkreise des Teslatransformators angeordnet sein kann. fernerhin Widerstände und Kondensatoren, die ebenfalls in den Primärkreis oder in Reihe mit der Röntgenröhre geschaltet sein können. Besonders geeignet sind hiebei Kondensatoren mit Dielektrikum, das eine grosse dielektrische   Hysteresisarbeit bedingt,   insbesondere auch Kondensatoren, die einen verhältnismässig geringen Isolationswiderstand haben, also dip Rolle eines grossen Widerstandes und eines Kondensators vereinigen. Endlich können im Sekundärkreise des Teslatransformators Vorrichtungen verwendet werden, die eine starke Sprühwirkung ergeben, wie z. B.

   Spitzenreihen, welche mit dem Hochswpannungspol   des Teslatransformators   in leitender Verbindung stehen. 



   Alle diese Mittel haben zur Folge, dass die Kurvenform der Schwingung stark asym-   metrisch   wird. Die Röhre leuchtet daher, mit solchen   stark asymmetrischen Wechselströmen

   Zur Erzeugung der Wechselströme können einfache oder seriengeschaltete Löschfunkenstrecken sowie alle sonstigen bekannten   Vorrichtungen dienen,   sofern auch sie zur Zerstörung der   Kurvensymmetrie   verwendbar sind, beispielsweise die einfache oder unterteilte Induktionsfunkenstrecke sowie der einfach- oder seriengeschaltete Lichtbogen.
