Verfahren zur Herstellung von Färbungen auf der Faser.
Es wurde gefunden, dass man Färbungen auf der Faser erhält, welche sich durch wertvolle Nuancen und gute Echtheitseigenschaften sowie durch eine sehr gute Ätzbarkeit auszeichnen, wenn man das Azetonkondensationsprodukt der 1. 8-Naphtylendiamin-4-snlfosäure (vgl. deutsche Patentschrift Nr. 122475 und Annalen der Chemie, Band 365, Seite 61) nach Art des ss-Naphtols auf die Faser aufbringt und mit unsulfierten Diazoverbindungen entwickelt. Man kann die genannte Azetonverbindung auch auf bereits mit -Naphtot präparierte Ware aufdrucken und alsdann entwickeln, oder sie neben oder im Gemisch mit anderen Komponenten verwenden.
Beispiel :
16 Teile des Azetonkondensationsproduktes der 1. 8-Naphtylendiamin-4-sulfosäure werden mit Wasser und 15 Teilen Natronlauge 40"Be unter Zusatz von 50 Teilen Türkischrotöl D gelöst und auf 1000 Teile eingestellt. Der hiemit geklotzte und getrocknete Stoff wird z. B. mit einer essigsauren Diazolösung aus 23 g p-Nitranilin pro Liter entwickelt. Man lässt mehrerere Stunden liegen, spült und seift.
Man erhält so auf sehr einfache Weise ein schönes, reines Blauschwarz von guter Chlor- und Lichtechtheit, das sich durch eine vorzüghchf, rem weisse Atzbarkeit auszeichnet.
Analog verfährt man bei Verwendung anderer unsuinerter Diazoverbindungen. Beispielsweise liefert die Diazoverbindung aus p-Chlor-o-anisidin und diejenige aus fx-Naphtylamin bordeauxartige Nuancen.

It has been found that dyeings on the fiber are obtained which are distinguished by valuable nuances and good fastness properties as well as very good etchability if the acetone condensation product of 1,8-naphthylenediamine-4-sulfonic acid (cf. German Patent No. 122475 and Annalen der Chemie, Volume 365, page 61) is applied to the fiber in the manner of ss-naphthol and developed with unsulfated diazo compounds. The acetone compound mentioned can also be printed on goods already prepared with -Naphtot and then developed, or they can be used alongside or in a mixture with other components.
Example:
16 parts of the acetone condensation product of 1,8-naphthylenediamine-4-sulfonic acid are dissolved with water and 15 parts of 40 "Be sodium hydroxide solution with the addition of 50 parts of Turkish red oil D and adjusted to 1000 parts an acetic acid diazo solution from 23 g of p-nitroaniline per liter, which is left to lie for several hours, rinsed and soaped.
In this way, a beautiful, pure blue-black of good chlorine and lightfastness is obtained in a very simple manner, which is distinguished by excellent white etchability.
The procedure is analogous when using other unsuinified diazo compounds. For example, the diazo compound from p-chloro-o-anisidine and that from fx-naphthylamine give Bordeaux-like shades.
