Periskop.
Die vorliegende Erfindung bezieht sich auf Verbesserungen der im Stammpatent Nr. 60269 beschriebenen Periskope und bezweckt, diese zu vereinfachen und die Helligkeit des durch das optische Hilfssystem im Verein mit einem Teil des Hauptsystems erzeugten Bildes zu steigern, was durch Verkleinerung der Zahl der reflektierenden und absorbierenden Prismen und durch die besondere Art der letzteren erreicht wird.
In der Zeichnung zeigen Fig. 1 einen Längsschnitt nach der Linie A-B der Fig. 2, Fig. 2 einen Grundriss.
Nach der vorliegenden Erfindung entfällt das Amiciprisma und dans Prisma zur Umkehrung des Bildes in einer senkrechten Ebene (im Stammpatent mit 12 und 11 bezeichnet), an deren Stelle die Prismenkombination 21 angewendet wird, welche das liild von einer Hand zur anderen (etwa von rechts nach links) umkehrt. Die notwendige Umkehrung das Bildes in der senkrechten Ebene wird durch das untere Hauptprisma (welches im Stammpatente mit 5 bezeichnet ist) des Instrumentes veranlasst.
Zur Steigerung der Lichtstärke sowohl der Periskope nach dem Stammpatent als auch gemäss der vorliegenden Erfindung verbesserten Instrumente wird das besondere Prisma 14 (siehe Stammpatent), welches an der Hypotenuse des oberen Hauptprismas angekittet ist, weggelassen. Um die Strahlen von dem optischen Hilfssystem ungehindert zu dem Objektiv 2 des liauptteleskopes gehen zu lassen, wird ein entsprechender Teil 25 des oberen Prismas 1 ausgeschnitten bzw. fortgelassen.
