Arrangement of piston slide valves on internal combustion engines.
The invention relates to an arrangement of piston slide valves on internal combustion engines. In the same, the guide for the coal pusher is formed from a cylindrical tube extension of the same axial to the working cylinder, over which a special fitting containing the supply and discharge channels is grazed, which in its position by a special fastening means acting on the tube attachment, z. B. a mother is held.
In the drawing, the object of the invention is shown in a Ausfübrungshebeispiel and show FIGS. 1 to 3 the same in vertical section in different working positions. a is the cylinder of an internal combustion engine. A cylindrical tube attachment d is axially on the same. which has openings m and n. b is a fuel supply line and c is the exhaust line. These are arranged in a special fitting that is slipped over the pipe socket d and held in place by a nut. At the bottom the tube attachment is designed as a seat for a poppet valve e, f is the valve rod, g the valve spring. A piston h is rigidly attached to the valve rod f above the valve body e and is guided in the pipe socket d.
The piston is hollow and the bottom of the same has holes or the like.
If the valve body is in the position shown in FIG. 1, the openings m 8 of the fuel supply line b are closed. The valve body e closes the cylinder from the exhaust line c. If the valve is brought into the position shown in FIG. 2, the fuel supply is terminated at 1n and the cylinder a is connected to the exhaust line c. The exhaust gases escape through the oilings n. Moves
EMI1.1
At the same time the exhaust line c is closed off by the cylinder'a.
Due to the peculiar design of the axial tube attachment and the special fitting containing the lines, it is possible to manufacture the working cylinder from forged steel, which is of great advantage especially for aircraft machines.
