Die Zeichnung veranschaulicht ein Ausführungsbeispiel des Erfindungsgegenstandes, und zwar zeigen Fig. 1 und 2 den Büstenhalter während der Benutzung in Seitenbzw. Rückansicht und Fig. 3 den ausser Gebrauch befindlichen Büstenhalter in ausgebreitetem Zustand.
Der Büstenhalter wird von einem elastischen, vorne mit bekannten Mitteln schliessbaren Tragbande gebildet, das aus einem schmalen Rückenteil b und zwei breiteren, bis etwa an die Achselhöhlen reichenden Brustteilen a besteht, die sich nach unten verjüngen. An das Tragband sind die gebräuchlichen, an der Aussenseite der Brüste verlaufenden, elastischen, mit Hilfe von Schnallen c oder dgl. der Länge nach regelbaren Achselbänder d befestigt.
Der dargestellte Büstenhalter wird derart angelegt, dass der Oberrand seiner Tragbandteile a, a die Brüste untergreift. Hierauf werden durch Einstellen der Achselbänder d auf entsprechende Länge die Tragbandteile a, a und damit auch der Busen in jene Lage gehoben, bei welcher letzterer nicht herunterhängt sowie möglichst gross und voll erscheint.

Then, by adjusting the armpit straps d to the appropriate length, the support strap parts a, a and thus also the breasts are lifted into that position in which the latter does not hang down and appears as large and full as possible.
