Vorliegende Erfindung bezieht sich auf Illuminationslichter, weiche aus Wachs-, Paraffin-und dgl. Blöcken mit eingesetztem Docht bestehen und entweder für sich oder in einem Blech-oder Glasbehälter eingesetzt verwendet werden, wobei sie im letzteren Falle auch mit Drahtbügeln zum Aufhängen und in allen Fällen zwecks Erhöhung des Effektes mit einer flammensicheren, beliebig gefärbten oder mit Abbildungen versehenen Papierhülse ausgestattet sein können, die Kegelstutzform hat und über den ähnlich geformten Behälter oder Block geschoben wird.
Bei derartigen Illuminationslichtern bilden die bisher in Verwendung stehenden Dochthalter einen wesentlichen Übelstand, weil sie das Verschieben oder Umfallen des Dochtes heim Abschmelzen der Masse nicht zu verhindern vermögen und eine Flammenentwicklung bei stark niedergeschmolzenem Block nicht mehr zulassen.
Gegenstand der Erfindung ist ein Dochthalter, der den Docht stets zentrisch erhält, auch wenn ein Pendeln des aufgehängten Illuminationslichtes infolge von Windströmungen oder aus anderen Ursachen stattfindet, und der ein vollständiges Ausbrennen der Wachsoder Parafssnmasse ermöglicht, da er jedes Verschieben oder Umfallen des Dochtes hintanhält. Infolgedessen kann die Flamme stets gleichmässig brennen, zu jeder Zeit ausgelöscht und wieder angezündet werden. Überdies ist dieser Dochthalter einfach und billig herstellbar.
Wie aus der Zeichnung (Fig. 1) ersichtlich, besteht der Dochthalter aus einem biegsamen Metallstreifen, der auf einem Teil seiner Länge zu einem Kreisbogen a geformt wird, während der andere Teil b abgebogen und armförmig in der Richtung eines Radius zu diesem
Bogen gestellt wird. Das Ende c dieses Armes b ist umgebogen und umklammert den Docht d.
Das andere am Kreisbogen a liegende kurze Ende e ist gleichfalls einwärtsgebogen.
Diese Dochthalter werden in Giessformen oder in die Blechbehälter der IIIuminationslichter eingesetzt, wobei ihr bogenförmiger Teil zufolge seiner Elastizität sich an die
Wandfläche der Form oder des Behälters andrückt und beim Eingiesscn der Wachs-oder Paraffinmasse eine genaue Zentrierung des in dem Halter eingeklemmten Dochtes erreicht ist. Das abgebogene kurze Ende e des Halters dient zum besseren Befestigen desselben in
Ersatzblöcken, die aus den Giessformen erhalten und ohne Blechbehälter geliefert werden.
Die Fig. 2 und 3 zeigen in zwei rechtwinkelig zueinander geführten Schnitten ein llluminationslicht mit in dem Blechbehälter f eingesetztem und mit Wnchs- oder Paraffin- masse g nmgossenem Dochthatter. Zum Aufhängen dient ein Drahtbügel h, der in ge- lochte Lappen j'des Behälters lose drehbar eingehakt und im oberen Teil der Draht- schlaufe auf entsprechende Länge (bei i) zusammengedreht ist, so dass das Bügelende

Auf den vorteilhaft konischen Blechbehä. lter f ist eine gleichfalls konische Hülle k aus flammensicher gemachtem Papier aufgeschoben, das durch entsprechende Wahl der Farbe und des Dekors eine Steigerung des Beleuchtungseffektes zu bewirken vermag.
