Description

Federung für Fahrzeuge, insbesondere für Kraftwagen.
 EMI1.1

In

Suspension for vehicles, in particular for motor vehicles.
 EMI1.1
Articulated coil springs are used, which absorb the small vibrations of the car axles by opening or. Can take up curling without the carriage springs themselves becoming effective.

Two exemplary embodiments of the subject matter of the invention are illustrated in the drawing. In Fig. 1, a spring designed according to the invention is shown diagrammatically, which is connected to a second leaf spring. Fig. 2 shows in the same way of representation a spring connected to a rear spring bracket.

The spring shown in Fig. 1 has two spirally curved lamellae a as connecting tabs, which are made on the steel and rotatably fastened by means of bolts to the leaf springs b, c designed in the usual way. The coil springs are expediently arranged on both sides of the carriage springs b, c. The two lamellas a are the same and about half as wide as the leaf springs. It is also possible for both ends of the coil springs to be bent to opposite sides so that the springs are given an S-shape.

In order to prevent the car body from falling even in the unlikely event of a coil spring breaking, two rigid connecting straps d (Fig. 1) are rotatably arranged on their upper fastening bolts, in whose longitudinal slots c the lower fastening bolt of the suspension is freely movable. The brackets therefore only establish the firm connection of the two bolts when the spiral springs break.

In some cases, the subject matter of the invention cannot be used well in the embodiment described so far. This is mainly the case with those wagons in which the wagon springs are connected to rear spring brackets, as these

turns, which forms its immediate continuation. The free end of the spiral spring is connected to the spring bracket h, while the other end engages around the rolled up spring end.

Two tabs i, forged from the spring (j3 and placed transversely to the plate surface, through the bores of which the fastening bolt k is passed) are used for fastening.

The arrangement of the spiral-shaped connecting springs causes the vibrations
