   Den Gegenstand der Erfindung bildet ein Verfahren zur Herstellung gleich langer Zigarettenhülsen mit Spiralmundstück und   Mundstückbelag,   welches Verfahren darin besteht, dass die Zigarettenhiilsen nach ihrer Abtrennung vom Zigarettenhülsenstrang durch eine Schneidevorrichtung mechanisch beschnitten bzw. auf gleiche Langen zugeschnitten werden. 



   Bei der Herstellung von Zigarettenhülsen mit Mundstückspirale und Mundstückbelag macht sich der Übelstand bemerkbar, dass der Mundstückbelag beim Abschneiden der Zigarettenhülsenlänge vom   Hülsenstrang   manchmal durchschnitten wird, so dass an der   nächstfolgenden   Zigarettenhülse ein schmaler Ring vom Belagsmaterial verbleibt. Ferner ist es auch möglich, dass das Durchschneiden des Hülsenstranges um ein Geringes neben dem Mundstückbelag erfolgt, in welchem Falle wiederum neben dem   Mundstückbelag   ein schmaler Ring Zigarettenpapier zu sehen ist. 



   Zur Beseitigung dieser Übelstände wird durch das vorliegende Verfahren die Zigarettenhülse nach ihrer   Abtrennung vom Hülsenstrange, nachdem   in sie das Spiralmundstück eingeführt ist bzw. während der Zeit, wo die Hülse auf dem   Einführlöffel   steckt, beschnitten, welches Beschneiden unter Verwendung beliebiger Mittel vorgenommen werden kann.
