Schreibmappe.
Diese Erfindung betrifft eine Schreibmappe mit einer Witterungsscbutzvorrichtung, die im Freien auch bei schlechtem Wetter (Regen, Schnee) Eintragungen zu machen gestattet, ohne Gefahr zu laufen, dass die letzte reD durch Nässeeinwirkung verwischt werden. Dieser Zweck wird gemäss vorliegender Erfindung dadurch erreicht, dass an der Oberkante des einen Deckels der Schreibmappe ein Schutzdach gelenkig befestigt ist, das entweder auf der Innenseite dieses Deckels niedergeklappt oder bei aufeinandergeklappten Deckeln durch den zweiten Deckel in aufgeklappter Stellung gehalten wird.
Der Erfindungsgegenstand ist auf der Zeichnung in der Fig. 1 aufgeklappt im Gebrauchszustande bei schönem Wetter und in der Fig. 2 im Gebrauchszustande bei Regen-oder Schneewetter dargestellt ; die Fig. 3 und 4 sind Längsschnitte zu den Fig. 1 und 2.
Die Schreibmappe besteht in üblicher Form aus den beiden Deckeln a und b, die durch ein Scharnier c miteinander aufklappbar verbunden sind. Längs der Oberkante des Deckels a ist um ein Scharnier f ein Schutzdach g aufklappbar, welches für gewöhnlich auf die Innenseite des Deckels a niedergeklappt ist und als Scbreibfläche dient. Wird dagegen bei geöffneter Mappe das Dach 9 hochgeklappt und dann die Mappe geschlossen, so kann das Dach 9 nicht mehr umkippen und hält Regen und Schnee zurück, zumal die Mappe beim Gebrauch immer etwas geneigt gehalten wird und das Dach 9 dann die Schreibfläche überragt. Dadurch werden die Drucksorten sowie die auf dieser gemachten Eintragungen geschützt.
Um ein Zurückschlagen des aufgeklappten Schutzdaches g durch den Wind zu verhindern, kann an einer (der linken) freien Ecke desselben eine Schnur h befestigt sein, deren freies, mit einer Widerhaltvorrichtung i ausgestattetes Ende in einen am Unterrande der Mappendeckel a, b vorgesehenen Schlitz k eingelegt werden kann.

Writing case.
This invention relates to a writing case with a weather protection device which allows entries to be made outdoors even in bad weather (rain, snow) without running the risk of the last reD being smeared by the action of moisture. This purpose is achieved according to the present invention in that a protective roof is hinged to the upper edge of one cover of the writing case, which is either folded down on the inside of this cover or held in the open position by the second cover when the covers are folded onto one another.
The subject of the invention is shown in the drawing in FIG. 1 unfolded in the state of use in fine weather and in FIG. 2 in the state of use in rainy or snowy weather; FIGS. 3 and 4 are longitudinal sections of FIGS. 1 and 2.
The writing case consists in the usual form of the two covers a and b, which are connected to one another by a hinge c so that they can be opened. Along the upper edge of the cover a, a protective roof g can be opened around a hinge f, which is usually folded down onto the inside of the cover a and serves as a writing surface. If, on the other hand, the roof 9 is folded up when the folder is open and the folder is closed, the roof 9 can no longer tip over and holds back rain and snow, especially since the folder is always held slightly inclined during use and the roof 9 then protrudes over the writing surface. This protects the printed matter and the entries made on it.
