Verfahren zur Befestigung von Applikationen auf Textilstoffen.
Zum Unterschiede von den bekannten Arten der Befestigung von Applikationen auf Textilstoffen durch blosses Aufkleben, Aufnähen oder dgl. bildet den Gegenstand der Erfindung ein Verfahren zum Befestigen von Applikationen, das darin besteht, dass die Applikationen unter Anwendung eines Klebemittels warm aufgaufriert werden.
Ein Beispiel der Ausführung dieses Verfahrens besteht darin, dass ein auf der Unterseite mit einem nassen oder schon getrockneten Klebstoff versehenes Band auf den Textilstoff gelegt wird, wonach man beide unter entsprechender Führung durch eine Gaufriereinrichtung bekannter Art laufen lässt. Dabei presst die geheizte, entsprechend bearbeitete Arbeitswalze bzw. das Presswerkzeug das Band gegen den Textilstoff, bringt das Klebmittel zur Wirkung, so dass das Band sicher am Textilstoff haften bleibt, und verziert durch die Einpressungen verschiedener Art zugleich das Band und gegebenenfalls auch den Textilstoff, insbesondere an den dem Band zunächstliegenden Stellen.
Der Effekt des beschriebenen Verfahrens gegenüber bekannten Verfahren besteht in dem besseren Halt der Applikationen und in der gleichzeitig, also ohne besondere Arbeitsoperation bewirkten Verzierung.

An example of the implementation of this method consists in that a tape provided on the underside with a wet or already dried adhesive is placed on the textile material, after which both are allowed to run under appropriate guidance through a gauze device of known type. The heated, appropriately processed work roll or the press tool presses the tape against the fabric, brings the adhesive to action so that the tape remains securely adhered to the fabric, and decorates the tape and possibly also the fabric through the various types of impressions, especially at the points closest to the tape.
The effect of the described method compared to known methods consists in the better hold of the appliqués and in the decoration effected at the same time, that is to say without any special work operation.
