   Einrichtungen zum Niederdrücken der am Halfter angelenkten Blendschirme auf die Augen des Pferdes mittels   Zugschnüre,   die unmittelbar an den Blendschirmen befestigt sind, sind bereits bekannt. Diese Einrichtungen haben den Nachteil, dass beim Verschwenken der Blenden die Zugschnüre in die Ebene der Blendschirme fallen und demnach ein weiteres Verschwenken der Blenden bis zum dichten Anliegen kaum erreicht wird. Dieser Übelstand wird nun erfindungsgemäss dadurch beseitigt, dass die Zngschnüre an den Enden von senkrecht von der Aussenseite der Blendschirme abstehenden Armen befestigt sind. 



   In der Zeichnung zeigen die Fig. 1 bis 5 eine beispielsweise Ausführungsform des gemäss der Erfindung ausgestatteten Blendschirmes. 



   C sind die eigentlichen Schirme, die vermittelst Gelenke n an den Halfterriemen d befestigt sind, in ihrer Offenstellung durch Federn o gehalten werden. wobei die Bewegung nach aussen durch die Anschläge p, p begrenzt wird. Selbstredend können die Blendschirme c auch beliebig anders an den Riemen d befestigt werden. 



   An den Blendschirmen c sind die Arme i befestigt, die mit den Zugschnüren j verbunden werden, durch deren Betätigung die Blendschirme c gegen das Auge des Pferdes gedrückt werden.
