Button to be filled with wire thread8.

Buttons are already known whose foot consists of a spiral wire thread to be screwed into the fabric. However, these buttons have the disadvantage that the piercing tips of the spiral thread are on the periphery and consequently allow the button to be screwed out accidentally despite the tip being bent under the thread and despite the increase in the thread, and also allowing the fabric or fingers to be injured by the piercing tip do not exclude.

The present invention aims to eliminate these disadvantages, which is achieved in that a spiral thread is used, which connects in a known manner with a radial arm to the button handle and starting from the periphery up to the piercing point located near the button axis narrowed in order to be able to flatten it after screwing it into the fabric and in this way to prevent both the accidental loosening of the head and injury to the bent neck.

The drawing illustrates the subject of the invention, namely Fig. 1 shows a button in a side view before fastening, while Fig. 2 shows the button after it has been fastened to the fabric.

A radial arm b adjoins the button handle a, at the end of which there is a spiral turn o which narrows conically after the piercing point d. To fasten the button, the piercing tip d is pushed through the fabric e and the spiral screwed through in a known manner until the button handle a gets into the fabric. Then, as can be seen from FIG. 2, the spiral c is pressed flat, the piercing tip d coming to lie inwards, so that an injury is completely excluded.
