Die Erfindung bezieht sich auf einen Kamm und bezweckt, einerseits die Kammwirkung zu erhöhen, andrerseits ein Zerreissen der Haare zu verhüten. Zu diesem Zweck werden die Zähne des Kammes. welche bisher als glatte Nadeln ausgeführt wurden, erfindungsgemäss mit Verknollungen versehen, deren wellenförmige Umrisslinien sich vom Zahnfuss gegen die Zahnspitze allmählich verflachen. Durch diese Ausgestaltung wird während des Einführens des Kammes in das Haar, also vor Beginn der eigentlichen Kammwirkung, eine Lockerung verfitzter Haare und während des Kämmens die Trennung in einzelne Haarsträhne wesentlich unterstützt.
In der Zeichnung ist eine Kammausbildung gemäss der Erfindung in zwei beispielsweisen Ausführungsformen in vergrössertem Massstab dargestellt.
In den Fig. i und 2, welche zwei Kämme in Ansicht veranschaulichen, bezeichnet a die Zähne, b den Kammrücken. Die Zähne a besitzen Verknollungen, welche am Zahnfuss am stärksten sind und sich gegen die Zahnspitze verflachen. Bei der Ausführung gemäss Fig. 1 sind die Verknollungen in gleicher Zahnhöhe angeordnet, bei jener gemäss Fig. 2 gegeneinander versetzt. Die Nadeln erhalten vorteilhaft einen kreisförmigen oder ovalen Querschnitt.

The invention relates to a comb and aims on the one hand to increase the comb effect and on the other hand to prevent the hair from tearing. For this purpose the teeth of the comb are used. which have hitherto been designed as smooth needles, according to the invention, are provided with lumps, the wave-shaped outlines of which gradually flatten from the tooth root towards the tooth tip. With this configuration, during the introduction of the comb into the hair, that is to say before the start of the actual comb effect, loosening of entangled hair and the separation into individual strands of hair during combing are significantly supported.
In the drawing, a comb design according to the invention is shown in two exemplary embodiments on an enlarged scale.
In Figs. I and 2, which illustrate two combs in view, a denotes the teeth, b the comb back. The teeth a have bulges, which are strongest at the tooth root and flatten out towards the tooth tip. In the embodiment according to FIG. 1, the bulges are arranged at the same tooth height, in that according to FIG. 2 they are offset from one another. The needles advantageously have a circular or oval cross-section.
