Verfahren zur Herstellung von Filterkohle.
Vorliegende Erfindung bezieht sich auf ein Verfahren zur Herstellung von Filtorkohle durch trockene Destillation von trockenen Gemischen aus fein verteilten kohlenstoffrpichen Materialien mit ebenfalls fein verteilten Mineralstoffen.
Das neue Verfahren besteht in der Verwendung von Asche, beispielsweise Braun- kohlonasche, als mineralischen Bestandteil des der trockenen Destillation zu unterwerfenden Gemisches. Das Ascbenmaterial zeichnet sich als mineralischer Zusatz vor anderen Materialien dadurch aus, dass es in sehr einfacher und billiger Weise in der erwünschten feinen Verteilung zu beschaffen ist, von der die Wirksamkeit des Kohlenmaterials abhängt.
Das Verfahren lässt sich dadurch in besonderer Weise wirksam und ökonomisch ausgestalten, dass dieselbe Asche wiederholt bei der Herstellung von Filterkohle benutzt wird, indem man verbrauchte Filterkohle verbrennt unter Ausnutzung ihres Würm'-inhalts und die verbleibende Asche, welche durch Wiederholung des Verbrennungsprozesses eine weitere Zerteilung erfährt, als mineralischen Bestandteil eines durch trockene Destillation in Filterkohle umzuwandelnden Gemisches benutzt.
War in einem solchen Falle die Filterkohle zur Reinigung von Abwasser benutzt worden, so ergibt sich gleichzeitig eine Anreicherung der als mineralische Beimengung bei der Herstellung von Filterkohle benutzten Asche an Pflanzennährstoffen, insbesondere an
Phosphor-und Kalkverbindungen. Durch hinreichend häufige Benutzung der Asche in der genannten Weise als mineralische Beimengung bei der Herstellung von Filterkohle kann man die Anreicherung an Phosphorsäure ohne Schwierigkeit so weit treiben, als es die
Rücksicht auf die 8cbliessliche Verwendung der Asche der Filterkohle als Düngemittel ver- langt. Das hiebei sich ergebende AschedUngemittel ist wegen der ausserordentlich feinen
Verteilung, in der sich die Pbosphorsalze in demselben befinden, von losonderer Wirk- samkeit.
Zugleich mit dem Gehalt an Phosphorsäure wächst in der Asche der Filterkohle auch dur (gehalt an Kalk, wodurch der Düngewert des Aschenmaterials erhöht wird.

The present invention relates to a process for the production of filter carbon by dry distillation of dry mixtures of finely divided carbon-rich materials with likewise finely divided mineral substances.
The new method consists in the use of ash, for example lignite ash, as a mineral component of the mixture to be subjected to dry distillation. As a mineral additive, ascbenic material is distinguished from other materials by the fact that it can be obtained in the desired fine distribution in a very simple and inexpensive manner, on which the effectiveness of the carbon material depends.
The method can be designed in a particularly effective and economical way that the same ash is used repeatedly in the production of filter charcoal by burning used filter charcoal using its worm content and the remaining ash, which is further broken up by repeating the combustion process is used as a mineral component of a mixture to be converted into filter carbon by dry distillation.
