In dem in Fig. 2 dargestellten Ausführungsbeispiel bewirken die in gegenläufigem Sinne vom Strom durchflossenen
Spulen e2 die Entstehung eines Folgepoles bei k, während an den Enden kl des Stabes, gleichartige Pole entstehen.
Bei der in Fig. 3 dargestellten Ausführungsform, bei welcher drei Spulen zur Verwendung gelangen, heben sich je zwei nebeneinanderliegende Spulen in ihrer Wirkung auf und das Nebenschlussfeld wird durch die dritte Spule bestimmt. Die Stäbe. f3 werden also hier in ähnlicher Weise magnetisiert wie bei dem in Fig. 1 dargestellten Beispiel.
