Tisch für Nähmaschinen mit vertenkbarem Maschinenobertell.
Den Gegenstand der Erfindung bildet ein Tisch für Nähmaschinen mit versenkbarem Maschinenoberteil, dessen Grundplatte bei aufrechtstehendem Maschineooberteil ein an der Tischplatte scharnierartig befestigter Deckel als Auflager dient. Das Neue der Erfindung besteht in der Anordnung einer an der freien Kante des Auflagerdeckels angelenkten Platte, die bei aufrechtstehendem Maschinenoberteil unter den Auflagerdeckel geschwenkt wird, bei versenktem Maschinenoberteil aber aufgeklappt die freibleibende Tischplattenöffnung überdeckt.
In der Zeichnung ist eine beispielsweise Ausführungsform der Erfindung veranschaulich und zwar zeigt Fig. 1 ein perspektivisches Bild der Tischplatte und der Versenktrommel, wobei sowohl der Deckel als auch die Grundplatte des Maschinenoberteiles aufgeklappt sind, Fig. 2 ist ein vertikaler Querschnitt des Tisches bei gebrauchsfertiger Stellung der Maschine, Fig. 3 ein perspektivisches Bild der geschlossenen Tischplatte mit einer teilweise darübergezogenen Decke.
Die den Maschinenoberteil oder die eigentliche Nähmaschine tragende eiserne Platte a ist in bekannter Weise scharnierartig auf der Tischplatte b befestigt ; die Öffnung in dieser ist grösser, als die der Grundplatte ades Maschinenoberteiles. Der Deckel, welcher die Versenktrommel nach oben abschliesst, besteht aus zwei Teilen c und d, die miteinander gelenkig verbunden sind. Die Deckelteile c und d haben zusammen die nämliche Grösse wie die Öffnung der Tischplatte, wobei der Deckelteil d mit der Grundplatte a des Oberteiles nach Form und Grösse übereinstimmt. Der Deckelteil c ist gelenkig mit der Tischplatte b verbunden.
Bei versenktem Maschinenoberteil dienen die beiden Deckel c und d, von denen der letztere in aufgeklapptem Zustande die ebene Fortsetzung des ersteren bildet, zur Abschliessung der Versenktrommel und zur Bedeckung der Tischplattenöffnung (Fig. 3). In der Betriebslage des Maschinenoberteiles ist jedoch der Deckelteil d unter den Deckel c geklappt (Fig. 2), wobei beiden der Anschlag e als Auflager dient ; der vorher in die Höhe verschwenkte Maschinenoberteil ruht auf seiner Grundplatte a in einem Absatz f des Deckels c.
Die Versenktrommel besteht aus den beiden anstossenden Mänteln g und h, vor denen der auf der Maschine arbeitenden Person zugewendete Mante) A scharnierartig gehoben werden kann, wie dies in Fig. 2 mit punktierte Linien veranschaulicht ist, um den Knien der arbeitenden Person Raum zu geben. In dieser gehobenen Stellung wird der Mantel h durch eine beliebige Feststellvorrichtung, z. B. Bolzen i gesichert. Die Anordnung kann auch so getroffen sein, dass durch entsprechende Verbindung des Maschinenoberteiles mit dem Mantel h letzterer bei der Arbeitsstellung der Maschine in gehobener Lage gehalten wird, hingegen bei versenktem Maschinenoberteil seine tiefste Lage einnimmt.
Eine Decke k ist in bekannter Weise auf die federnd gelagerte Walze n aufgewickelt und trägt am freien Ende die Öse 1, die in einen am anderen Tischende vorgesehenen Haken, Knopf oder dgl. eingehängt werden kann. Beim Auslösen der Öse entspannt sich die Feder und versetzt die Walze in Drehung, wodurch die Decke auf die Walze aufgewickelt und die Tischplatte freigegeben wird.

The subject of the invention is a table for sewing machines with a retractable machine head, the base plate of which when the machine head is upright is used as a support by a cover attached to the table top in a hinge-like manner. The novelty of the invention consists in the arrangement of a hinged plate on the free edge of the support cover, which is pivoted under the support cover when the machine head is upright, but when the machine head is lowered it covers the open table top opening.
In the drawing, an exemplary embodiment of the invention is illustrated, namely Fig. 1 shows a perspective image of the table top and the lowering drum, both the cover and the base plate of the machine head are opened, Fig. 2 is a vertical cross section of the table in the ready-to-use position of the machine, FIG. 3 is a perspective image of the closed table top with a partially pulled over cover.
The iron plate a carrying the machine head or the actual sewing machine is fastened in a known manner in a hinge-like manner on the table top b; the opening in this is larger than that of the base plate of the machine head. The cover, which closes the lowering drum at the top, consists of two parts c and d, which are connected to one another in an articulated manner. The cover parts c and d together have the same size as the opening of the table top, the cover part d having the same shape and size as the base plate a of the upper part. The cover part c is articulated to the table top b.
When the upper part of the machine is sunk, the two covers c and d, of which the latter forms the flat continuation of the former when opened, are used to close the lowering drum and to cover the tabletop opening (FIG. 3). In the operating position of the machine head, however, the cover part d is folded under the cover c (FIG. 2), with both the stop e serving as a support; the machine head previously pivoted upwards rests on its base plate a in a shoulder f of the cover c.

When the eyelet is released, the spring relaxes and sets the roller in rotation, as a result of which the blanket is wound onto the roller and the table top is released.
