Sitz-, Fuss-und Lehnenversteifung für Sitzmöbel.
Die Erfindung hat eine Sitz-, Fuss-und Lehnenversteifung für Sitzmöbel zum Gegenstande, die darin besteht, dass der die Beine verbindende offene Versteifungsring zwischen den Hinterfüssen mit dem Sitz verbunden ist.
In der Zeichnung ist eine beispielsweise Ausführungsform des Erfindungsgegenstandes dargestellt, und zwar zeigt Fig. 1 einen Stuhl in Rückansicht und Fig. 2 denselben in der Druntersicht bei geschnittenen Beinen.
Der zur Versteifung der Füsse unterhalb des Sitzes 1 dienende Ring 2 ist in bekannter Weise offen und besitzt abgebogene Enden 3,4. Der Ring wird zwischen den vier Füssen in solcher Weise befestigt, dass dessen freie Enden 3,4 zwischen den Hinterfüssen des Stuhles nach oben ragen und mit dem Sitz 1 verbunden sind.
Durch diese Ausgestaltung und Befestigungsweise des Ringes 2 werden zwei Versteifungsdreiecke a, b, c und a', b', c gebildet, durch welche auf einfache Weise nebst der Versteifung der Hinterfüsse mit dem Sitz indirekt auch eine Versteifung der durch die Verlängerung der Hinterfüsse gebildeten Lehne mit dem Sitz erzielt wird, weil durch die Befestigung des Ringstückes b, c bzw. bran der Stelle c des Sitzes eine dritte, ausserhalb der Ringebene gelegene Befestigung des Ringes an einem organischen Teil des Stuhles gegeben ist, die für die Festigkeit und Haltbarkeit des Stuhles von besonderem Wert ist. Jei dieser Vpr- bindungsart werden die bisher gebräuchlichen und für das Aufstapeln der Stühle im Wege stehenden Verbindungskonsolen zwischen Lehne und Sitz entbehrlich gemacht.
Der offene Ring ermöglicht eine bequeme Anpassung an die Stuhlbein zu seiner Befestigung.
