Den Gegenstand der vorliegenden Erfindung bildet eine. Fussversteifung für Möbel, welche aus zwei aneinanderliegenden Bügeln besteht, die entweder aus einem Stück oder aus zwei gesonderten Stücken gebildet werden und deren Enden in horizontaler und vertikaler Ebene abgebogen, mit den Füssen und gegebenenfalls mit dem Sitz verbunden sind.
In Fig. 1 der Zeichnung ist eine beispielsweise Ausführungsform des Erfindunggegenstandes in schaubildlicher Darstellung und in Fig. 2 im Schnitt veranschaulicht.
Fig. 3 zeigt eine weitere Ausführungsform des Bügels in der Draufsicht.
Die nebeneinanderliegenden Versteifungsbügel J, J ! werden entweder aus gesonderten Stücken (Fig. 3), die dann zweckmässig durch eine Einlage bzw. ein Zwischenstück 5 im Scheitel miteinander verbunden sind oder aus einem Stück hergestellt (Fig. 1 und 2). Die Enden 2 der Bügel 1, 1 sind in horizontaler und vertikaler Ebene derart abgebogen, dass sie je an einen der Füsse 3 anliegen und längs denselben ein entsprechendes Stück auf- wärtsgeführt sind. Der Darstellung gemäss verlaufen die Enden der Bügel bis zum Sitz und sind an den Füssen 3 an zwei oder mehreren Stellen befestigt. Die Enden der Bügel 1 können gegebenenfalls auch am Sitz bei 4 befestigt, z. B. verzapft sein.
Durch diese Verbindungsart wird in einfacher Weise eine ausreichende Versteifung der Füsse gegeneinander, gegen die durch die Verlängerung der Hinterfüsse gebildete Rücklehne und den Sitz erzielt. Ein derartiger Bügel besitzt ferner eine gewisse Anpassbarkeit an die bei einem gegebenen Stuhl vorhandene Lage der Füsse gegeneinander.

The subject of the present invention is one. Foot stiffener for furniture, which consists of two brackets lying next to one another, which are formed either from one piece or from two separate pieces and the ends of which are bent in a horizontal and vertical plane, connected to the feet and optionally to the seat.
In Fig. 1 of the drawing, an exemplary embodiment of the subject invention is illustrated in a diagrammatic representation and in Fig. 2 in section.
Fig. 3 shows a further embodiment of the bracket in plan view.
The adjacent stiffening brackets J, J! are either made of separate pieces (Fig. 3), which are then conveniently connected to one another by an insert or an intermediate piece 5 in the apex, or made of one piece (Fig. 1 and 2). The ends 2 of the brackets 1, 1 are bent in the horizontal and vertical planes in such a way that they each rest on one of the feet 3 and are guided upwards along the same a corresponding piece. According to the illustration, the ends of the brackets run up to the seat and are attached to the feet 3 at two or more points. The ends of the bracket 1 can optionally also be attached to the seat at 4, e.g. B. be mortised.
With this type of connection, sufficient stiffening of the feet against each other, against the backrest formed by the extension of the rear feet and the seat is achieved in a simple manner. Such a bracket also has a certain adaptability to the relative position of the feet in a given chair.
