Die Wirkungsweise der Vorrichtung ist folgende : Das mittels der Schere 19, 20 vom Streifen 1 abgeschnittene Mundstiickpapierblatt wird von den Rollen 21, 22 erfasst und zum Dorn 4 geführt, wobei das vordere Ende des Mundstückpapierblattes zwischen diesen Dorn und den ihn umgebenden endlosen Papierstreifen lhinemgeschoben wird (Fig. 2). Hierauf beginnt der Hebel 13 seine Bewegung von rechts nach links und betätigt die Rolle 8. Der Mundstück- papierstreifen 1 beginnt seine Bewegung um die Rolle 2, den Dorn 4, die Rollen 3, 5, 6 durch die indes geöffnete Schere 19, 20. Bei dieser Bewegung des endlosen Streifens 1 wird das zwischen ihm, und dem Dorne 4 befindliche Mundstückpapierblatt erfasst, mitgenommen und um den Dorn gewickelt (Fig. 3).

Die rollenden Teile sind wieder in der Anfangsstellung (Fig. 5) und es beginnt das Aufrollen des nächsten Mundstückpapierblattes.
