   Der Gegenstand der Erfindung bezieht sich auf ein Verfahren zur Herstellung eines Holzpoliturersatzes von dauerndem Glanze und besteht dasselbe im wesentlichen darin, dass man mit den zu behandelnden Holzgegenständen Gelatine-, Zelluloid-, Schellack-, Harzoder dgl. Folien die gewünschte Glanzstufe entsprechend verbindet und hierauf die Folien von den Gegenständen wieder abzieht. 



     Eine praktische Durchführung,   des Verfahrens besteht darin, dass man die zu behandelnden Gegenstände mit Lack bestreicht und vor dem   vollständigen   Trocknen des Lackes die Folie aufwalzt. Nach einiger Zeit wird die Folie von dem Gegenstande wieder abgezogen und dieser erscheint nun stark glänzend. Auf diese Weise kann eine Folie zur Behandlung verschiedener Gegenstände verwendet werden.
