The overlapping guide tabs 19 of the belt jaws are between the plate C and the washer plate 20 resting on the sole plate 4 and by rivets 21 which engage through longitudinal slots 22 of the tabs 19, and have the holes 23, of which depending on the position of the Jaws two come to one another. A flap 24 is rotatable around the bolt 16, which on the underside carries a mandrel or pin 25 which engages through an opening 26 of the axle plate in the holes 23 of the two belt jaw lugs 19 brought under this opening to coincide and thus engages the belt jaws in the respective Position.
The rest of the equipment of the ski binding is known and an explanation of the same is unnecessary.
The most important advantage of the fastening device described is that, as a result of the division of the spring into a number of individual springs, the snowshoe can still be used even if such an individual spring breaks.
PATENT CLAIMS: 1. Snowshoe binding, the rotatable sole plate of which is held down by a helical spring wound around the axis of rotation, characterized in that the spring is formed from several individual springs for the purpose of achieving strong suspension and the suspension even if one of the springs breaks to maintain.
