cut along the line A-B of FIG. 1.

The two abutting strips 2 and 3 of a frame to which the two other frame strips 4 and 5 are hinged with the aid of bolts 4a and 5a are screwed onto a frame-shaped support plate 1. In the closed state, this frame corresponds to the shape and dimensions of the grave tablet to be cast, which is made of any glass, e.g. B. white or black marble glass, may exist. Forked rails of T-shaped cross-section are inserted into corresponding grooves in the plate 1, and a longitudinal wedge 7 is inserted between each of the legs 6 so that the rails can be easily removed. These rails are used to produce the dovetail-shaped grooves in the grave plaque to accommodate the letters required for the grave inscription.

Both the rails 6 and the wedges 7 are each equipped with a handle 8. The plate 1 is supported by a punch 9 as well
 EMI1.2
receiving recess is determined in the glass panel, preferably has an elliptical cross section and can be moved up and down by an eccentric 11. The vertical movement of the bolts 10, which are used to produce the holes for the screws for fastening the glass panels to the tombstone, is carried out by means of hand levers 12.
 EMI1.3
took the picture and formed the two holes for the mounting screws. The rails 6 cause undercut grooves to be formed in the glass sheet.

The glass sheet is then allowed to solidify, removed from the opened device and then cooled in the usual way.

   PATENT CLAIMS:
