Abstract

Verfahren und Vorrichtung zur Pulsmessung bei Säugetieren mithilfe eines Hall-Sensors (1) und eines innerhalb eines Messbereiches (12) des Hall-Sensors (1) in einem definierten und pulsabhängigen Abstand angeordneten magnetischen Objekts (7), wobei mithilfe des Hall-Sensors (1) pulsabhängige Abstände zum magnetischen Objekt (7) gemessen und mithilfe einer Auswerteeinheit (3) aus diesem pulsabhängigen Messsignal ein Pulssignal zur Pulsmessung ermittelt wird. Es wird vorgeschlagen, dass in einem vorhergehenden Schritt der Messung das magnetische Objekt (7) aus dem Messbereich (12) ausgekoppelt wird und elektromagnetische Störsignale gemessen werden, und in einem nachfolgenden Schritt der Messung das magnetische Objekt (7) in den Messbereich (12) eingekoppelt wird und das pulsabhängige Messsignal gemessen wird, wobei in einem anschließenden Schritt einer Signalaufbereitung des pulsabhängigen Messsignals in einem über eine Eingabeschnittstelle (5) einstellbaren Aufbereitungsmodus eine auf das jeweils gemessene Säugetier abgestimmte Signalaufbereitung vorgenommen wird.
