Abstract
Verfahren zur Messung eines Defektgrads einer Region eines Substrats für ein Sicherheitsdokument, wobei der Defektgrad mit der verringerten Transparenz der Region des Substrats in Zusammenhang steht, wobei das Verfahren folgende Schritte umfasst: digitale Bilderfassung der Region, um ein digitales Bild zu erzeugen, wobei das digitale Bild Lichtintensitätsdaten enthält; und Analysieren des digitalen Bildes, umfassend: Berechnen eines statistischen Maßes der Lichtintensitätsdaten in der Region; und Zuweisen einer Defektkennzahl an die Region auf Grundlage des statistischen Maßes der Lichtintensitätsdaten in der Region.
