Downward burning kerosene light bulb.
The present invention relates to a downward burning petroleum g! üh) icht) ampe and consists in that a downwardly tapering, funnel-shaped mixing chamber with a special air supply is connected to the cylindrical mixing tube. A petroleum incandescent lamp according to the present invention is illustrated in the drawing, for example, namely FIG. 1 shows the vertical center section through the lamp, FIG. 2 shows the top view of the carburetor and FIG. 3 shows the cross section along the line A-B of FIG.
A spirit container b is stored on the petroleum container a. Both containers are ring-shaped and enclose the exhaust pipe e. The carburetor is carried by a casing d located below the pipe c, which is composed of two parallel pipes el, e3 and a cross pipe e2 connecting them. The three pipes mentioned lie in a plane that is slightly inclined to the horizontal. One end of the tube e1 is connected to the petroleum container a through the lockable line f, and the opposite end of the tube e3 is connected to the gas nozzle i inserted into the mixing tube h through a thin tube g. The other end of the pipe e1 and the two ends of the pipe e3 can each be closed with a screw plug s1 or s2, s.
A downwardly tapering funnel-shaped mixing chamber 1, the ceiling of which has a number of air intake openings m, is connected to the mixing tube h, the jacket of which has air intake stubs k in the usual manner. A plate n is arranged a short distance above this ceiling. The gap between the mixing chamber ceiling and the plate n is laterally limited by a sieve o carried by the latter. Opposite the mentioned gap, the jacket d has openings m 'for the entry of air. As usual, the support t for the incandescent body u is connected to the lower end of the mixing nozzle l.
Above the mixing nozzle l, the preheating bowl p is arranged, into which spirit can get out of the container b by means of a tube ql and a funnel q2.
EMI1.1
The lamp shown is used in the usual way by initially igniting alcohol in the bowl p, which preheats the carburetor.
The luminosity of the lamp is improved according to the invention in that the second mixing chamber has a special air supply.
