   Der Gegenstand der Erfindung bezieht sich auf gewalzt Herdplatte und besteht im wesentlichen in der besonderen Ausgestaltung der zur Verbindung und Versteifung dienenden Teile. Die Herdplatte ist in der Zeichnung in Fig. 1 im Grundriss und Fig. 2 im Querschnitt veranschaulicht und ist im wesentlichen dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der zur Lagerung der jeweils benachbarten Platte dienende Falz durch Abbiegen der betreffenden Herdplattenkante hergestellt wird, so dass die   Wandstärke   des Falzes ebenfalls der Stärke der Herdplatte entspricht. Die Platten a werden einfach auf den Falz c der benachbarten Platten aufgelegt und untereinander mittels Nieten oder Schrauben   d   verbunden. 



   Zur Versteifung der Herdplatten a sind dieselben ihrer Längsrichtung nach mit flachen Erhöhungen b ausgestattet, welche lediglich so dimensioniert sind, dass sie an der Stelle ihrer Anordnung eine entsprechende Verstärkung der Herdplatte darstellen, keineswegs aber imstande sind, für die unbehinderte Fortleitung der Flamme nachteilige Winkel und Ecken zu bilden. Diese Verstärkungen b bewirken lediglich eine geringe Ablenkung der gegen sie stossenden Flammen von der Zugrichtung.
