   Die Wirkung der Lampe ist nun die, dass die aus der Düse austretenden, nach oben geblasenen Gase durch das Bestreben heisser Gase, nach oben zu steigen, mit beschleunigter Geschwindigkeit in den nach unten gerichteten Teil des   Mischrohres 9 unter Mitreissung   von Frischluft gelangen. 



  Das Gasluftgemisch wird aus dem nach unten gerichteten Teil des Mischrohres durch den im Schornstein gebildeten Zug, da die Räume zwischen Brennerkopfmündung und Schornstein nach aussen   überall dicht   abgeschlossen sind, herausgezogen. Hiedurch wird eine lange   Bunsenftamme   gebildet, die den Strumpf allseitig zum Erglühen bringt. 



    Zu bemerken ist, dass Dampfbrennerlampen für hängendes Glühlicht bekannt sind, bei denen der Dampf aus der nach. oben gerichteten Düse des bis zur Mündung überhitzten Dampf-   weges in den nach unten gerichteten Eintrittsschenkel eines gebogenen Mischrohres unter Mitführung von Frischluft geleitet und durch den zweiten, ebenfalls abwärtsgerichteten, im Brennerkopf endigenden Schenkel nach abwärts austreten. Ferner sind Dampfbrennerlampen mit aufwärts-   brcnnendpr Flamme   bekannt, bei welchen die zwischen Brennerkopfmündung und Schornstein liegenden Räume mit der Wirkung nach aussen abgedichtet sind, dass der   Sehornsteinzug   voll zur Heraussaugung des Dampfgemisches aus dem Brenner ausgenützt wird.

   The effect of the lamp is that the gases exiting the nozzle and blown upwards, due to the efforts of hot gases to rise, reach the downward part of the mixing tube 9 at accelerated speed, entraining fresh air.



  The gas-air mixture is drawn out of the downward-facing part of the mixing tube by the draft formed in the chimney, since the spaces between the burner head opening and the chimney are tightly sealed from the outside. This creates a long bunsen stem which makes the stocking glow on all sides.



    It should be noted that steam burner lamps are known for hanging incandescent light, in which the steam from the after. upwardly directed nozzle of the steam path, which is overheated up to the mouth, is passed into the downwardly directed inlet leg of a curved mixing tube with entrainment of fresh air and exits downward through the second, also downwardly directed leg ending in the burner head. Furthermore, steam burner lamps with upward-brcnnendpr flame are known in which the spaces between the burner head mouth and chimney are sealed with the effect that the draft of the chimney is fully used to suck out the steam mixture from the burner.
