Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren und eine Vorrichtung zum Oberflächenbehandeln von Papier/Karton.Eine Faserbahn wird mit einer ein Trocknungsschrumpfen erzielenden Chemikalie, die Stärke enthält, behandelt. Die Chemikalie dringt im Wesentlichen gänzlich durch die Faserbahndicke. Danach schreitet die Faserbahn zu einer Behandlungszone (N) zwischen zwei erwärmten Metallflächen (12, 15). In der Behandlungszone (N) wandert die Feuchtigkeit innerhalb der Faserbahn zu einem mittleren Abschnitt, wodurch der mittlere Abschnitt durch die Feuchtigkeitszunahme anschwillt und der Oberflächenabschnitt einer hohen Trocknungsspannung ausgesetzt wird, da verhindert wird, dass der Oberflächenabschnitt schrumpft. Wenn die Faserbahn aus der Behandlungszone heraustritt, entweicht das verdampfte Wasser schnell durch die Oberflächenporen ohne wesentliche Kondensation in den Oberflächenlagen, was zu einem erhöhten Elastizitätsmodul der Oberflächen und zu geringer Dichte des mittleren Abschnitts führt.Die Chemikalie wird einseitig auf die Bahn (W) aufgetragen, Unterdruck wird auf die andere Seite (W2) der Bahn aufgebracht, damit die Chemikalie in die Bahn dringt, danach wird die Bahn mittels Infratrockner (9) kontaktfrei getrocknet, danach wird die Chemikalie auf die andere Seite der Bahn aufgetragen, danach wird Unterdruck auf die eine Seite (W1) der Bahn aufgebracht, damit die auf der anderen Seite der Bahn aufgetragene Chemikalie in die Bahn dringt, und danach wird die Bahn in die Behandlungszone (N) geleitet.Die Erfindung betrifft außerdem eine entsprechende Vorrichtung zum Oberflächenbehandeln von Papier/Karton.
