Der erlangte Vorteil fällt um so mehr ins Gewicht, als es sich einerseits inzwischen praktisch herausgestellt hat, dass der erforderliche Zwischenraum z noch kleiner sein kann, als im Stammpatente vorausgesetzt wurde, andererseits ein zu grosser Überschuss an Kraft vernünftiger Weise gerne gemieden wird.
Es ist weiters nicht ausser acht zu lassen, dass eine allfällige selbständige Verschiebung des Zündhütchens, und sei sie noch so gering, den sogenannten arheitenden Verschlussteil (Drehorgan) vorzeitig verschieben könnte, so dass dann er den Hauptstoss vom Verschlusskopfe gar nicht bekommen würde.
Diese Eigentümlichkeit des Verschlusses gestattet es, dass man die Waffe auch als Einzellader verwendbar machen kann, indem man mit Hilfe irgend einer entsprechenden, einfachen Einstellvorrichtung, den sogenannten arbeitenden Teil (Drehorgan) t nicht voll- kommen an den Verschlnsskopf anliegen Ihsst, so dass das Entriegelungsorgan dann keinen Stoss bekommt und der Verschluss daher geschlossen bleibt.
