Abstract
Description
2 AT 503 807 B12 AT 503 807 B1
The invention relates to a device with an air tank for cleaning odor traps on kitchen and bathroom drains.
The waste water from kitchens and bathrooms are enriched with detergents, tissue fibers and other foreign bodies and lead to the narrowing of the flow in the odor traps and lately to complete blockage. To prevent this, various external agents were used. Thus, chemical agents were used, which are intended to dissolve the deposits, or rubber bells with a stalk, which put in abutting motion the water column resting in the odor trap in motion. These agents usually show little effect. In order to provide for improvement, devices have become known, which introduce liquid in the drainage stosweise. Thus, the French Patent 503 745 shows a design with a bellows, which is closed at its top with a solid disc and in the middle has a fixedly mounted stem, which serves to depress the bellows. On the stem, a valve plate is guided, which covers spring-loaded several openings in the disc. The underside of the bellows has a conically tapering ring, which gives a wide opening and serves as a connection to the spouts. An internally mounted compression spring, which is supported on the ring and on the disc, keeps the bellows in its extended position. On the outside of the ring four distributed around the circumference rods are mounted, which engage in the disc in openings and serve as guides. When the bellows is compressed, the air that escapes escapes via the poppet valve and, as the bellows expands, it fills with water, which is then pressed into the spout the next time the bellows is compressed. However, this presupposes that the drainage is very strongly or completely blocked, otherwise no accumulation of water in the basin is possible. Also, the outer rods are disturbing, since the spouts are always attached to the edges of the pelvis.
Another example is shown in European Patent Publication 0 147 997. This also shows a bellows whose top is closed with a threaded piece on which a cylindrical body which carries a D-shaped handle, is screwed.
The underside of the bellows is closed with a shaped piece which is drawn in the middle in the form of an injector and also serves as a handle, wherein the outflow channel has a thread on the end, on which adapted caps or nozzles can be screwed. The parts are made of plastic and the edges of the caps and nozzles are elastic. The bellows is self-expanding. This device also works with liquid that is pressed in compressing the bellows into the pipe system. The large length of the device shows a comparatively short bellows and thus indicates low performance.
The object of the invention is to offset by means of a voluminous bellows a larger amount of air in a jerky motion to solve deposits in the odor trap, wherein working with the device is facilitated by two-handed operation.
This object is achieved with a device which is characterized by the features of claims 1 and 2.
The device which can be dedusted sealingly at the spout allows a larger quantity of air to be sent into the pipe system in repeatedly repeated bumps and thus to dissolve the deposits in the odor trap and subsequently to flush away with water.
Es zeigenIn the drawings, exemplary embodiments are shown, which will be explained in more detail below. Show it
