EMI1.1

EMI1.1
The subject of the present invention is a process for wide washing, deacidification aaw. of fabrics using compressed air, in which the compressed air is guided from below against the downwardly guided sections in the manner known from washing and spooling of wide woven fabrics in countercurrent flow through the treatment liquid.
As a result, the softened dirt particles adhering to the fabric or the carbon dioxide bubbles that form during washing are carried along by the rising air bubbles and the flow of the treatment liquid is thereby increased.
For example, the drawing illustrates an apparatus for performing the method.
The fabric web A is in a known manner in the wash tub b by means of guide rollers c
EMI1.2
Parts a of the fabric web A are separated from one another by transverse walls d and the washing liquid flows in the cells formed by the transverse walls d in the direction indicated by arrows up and down through the tub bond, the fabric being wound. At the bottom of the tub cells are perforated tubes e through which the compressed air is introduced and flows through the perforations against the parts a of the fabric, which expediently move slightly obliquely downward in the running direction.
