  Verfahren zur Darstellung schwefligsaurer Salze. 



   Das Verfahren besteht darin, dass neutrale   Alkalisulfide   in fester Form und   zor-     kleiner   in einer der verschiedenen hiefür geeigneten bekannten Vorrichtungen unter stetem Mischen, eventuell kontinuierlich, mit einem Strome von Schwefligsäuregas behandelt werden. Als derartige   Vorrichtungen   können rotierende Trommeln, eventuell geneigte um die eigene Achse rotierende Rohre, geneigte feste Rohre mit Rührwerk, rotierende konische Trommeln, mit Transportvorrichtung versehene geschlossene muldenförmige Apparate Verwendung finden. 



   Das jeweilig verwendete Ausgangsmaterial muss eine bestimmte Menge Wasser enthalten. Die Menge des Letzteren wird in jedem einzelnen Falle so bemessen, dass die bei der Absorption des Schwefligsäuregases auftretende Reaktionswärme das   Wasserquantum   teilweise oder ganz zur Verdampfung bringt und das dem Apparate am Ende der Reaktion entnommene Produkt den gewünschten Trockengehalt aufweist.    The process consists in treating neutral alkali sulphides in solid form and smaller in size in one of the various known devices suitable for this purpose, with constant mixing, possibly continuously, with a stream of sulfurous acid gas. Rotating drums, possibly inclined pipes rotating about their own axis, inclined fixed pipes with agitators, rotating conical drums, closed trough-shaped apparatus provided with a transport device can be used as such devices.



   The raw material used in each case must contain a certain amount of water. The amount of the latter is calculated in each individual case so that the heat of reaction occurring during the absorption of the sulfurous acid gas partially or completely evaporates the amount of water and the product removed from the apparatus at the end of the reaction has the desired dry content.
