Vorrichtungen zum Öffnen von Conservenbüchsen und dergl., bei denen der das verstellbare Scheibenmesser tragende Halter mit sich an den Büchsenrand anlegenden Führungsrollen ausgestattet ist, sind bekannt.
Bei diesen Offnungsvorrichtungen zeigt sich nun, einerseits durch das Fehlen eines gegenüber dem Scheibenmesser sich hinter den vorstehenden Deckelrand legenden Widerlagers, anderseits durch die örtliche Anordnung der Führungsrollen an dem Kopf des Messerhalters veranlasst, der Nachteil, dass nicht nur ein zu tiefes, den glatten Aufschnitt des Lötstreifens behinderndes Eindringen des Scheibenmessers in die Biichsenwand eintritt, sondern dass das Scheibenmesser bei teilweise deformiertem Deckelrande leicht von letzterem abspringt, was vielfach zu Verletzungen der die Büchse öffnenden Person führt.
Um diese (Beistände zu beseitigen, ist gemäss vorliegender Erfindung der Kopf des in bekannter Weise das verstellbare Scheibenmesser tragenden Halters einerseits mit einer sich hinter den erhöhten Rand des Büchsendeckels legenden im Ausschnitt konischen Widerlagsscheibe ausgestattet, anderseits zu einem an seinem Ende mit einer Führungsrolle oder dergl. versehenen zweckmässig in einem Winkel von 90 Grad zu dem Messerhalter stehenden Winkelarm verlängert, wodurch in Gemeinschaft mit der Widerlagsscheibe nicht nur ein zu tiefes Eindringen des Scheibenmessers in die Büchsenwand verhindert wird, sondern auch ein Abspringen des Öffners von der Büchse ausgeschlossen ist.
In den Fig. 1 bis 3 der Zeichnung ist ein Ausführungsbeispiel des Erfindungsgegenstandes in Ansicht, einem teil weisen Längsschnitt sowie in der Anwendungsweise veranschaulicht.
