Gesichtsmaske, speziell für Theater und Ball.
Den Gegenstand vorliegender Erfindung bildet eine Gesichtsmaske aus zarter Gummihaut. Die bekannten Sto1fmasken haben, trotzdem sie in grösster Vollkommenheit angepasst werden, den Nachteil, dass durch die Ausdünstungen von Nase und Mund ein längeres Aufbehalten unerträglich wird. Augengläser können gar nicht getragen werden, da durch den Hauch die Gläser anlaufen und ausserdem auch die Gläser in den Masken nicht gut sitzen. Weitere Nachteile bestehen darin, dass diese Masken kein schönes Aussehen besitzen und die Haltbarkeit eine sehr geringe ist. Alle diese Nachteile sind bei der den Gegenstand vorliegender Erfindung bildenden Maske vermieden. Die aus zarter Gummihaut gepressten Masken schmiegen sich dem Gesicht vollständig an, so dass jedem Schönheits- gefühl Rechnung getragen wird.
Da die Maske dicht anliegt, bleiben Nase und Mund vollständig frei, so dass die Atmung nicht im geringsten behindert wird und keine ungünstige Einwirkung derselben erfolgt. Ebenso bleiben die Augen voliständig frei und kann sowohl ein Kneifer als auch eine Brille bequem getragen werden ; die Maske kann auch gleich für Brillenträger ausgebildet sein. Das ganze Gesicht wird belebt, indem, wie erwähnt, Mund und Augen unbehindert sind und etztere ausdrucksvoller hervortreten.
Das Unkenntlichmachen geschieht durch Schminken oder Bemalen der Maske, wenn nicht durch Farbzusatz der Gummimasse, z. B. bei Negermasken, die Unkenntlichkeit schon verbürgt ist. Um einzelne Gesichtsteile anders zu gestalten, ist es notwendig, an den entsprechenden Stellen etwas unterzulegen. Die Maske kann speziell für Komiker mit Gesichtsfalten hergestellt werden, so dass ein Schminken für diese Fälle gar nicht notwendig ist. Die beschribbene Maske wirkt für den Träger kühlend und ist somit angenehm zu tragen.

The subject of the present invention is a face mask made of delicate rubber skin. The known shock masks, although they are perfectly adapted, have the disadvantage that they are unbearable due to the exhalation from the nose and mouth. Eye glasses cannot be worn at all, as the breath tarnishes the glasses and also the glasses do not sit well in the masks. Further disadvantages are that these masks do not have a beautiful appearance and the durability is very poor. All of these disadvantages are avoided in the mask forming the subject of the present invention. The masks, made of soft rubber skin, hug the face completely so that every feeling of beauty is taken into account.
Since the mask fits tightly, the nose and mouth remain completely free, so that breathing is not in the least hindered and there is no adverse effect on it. The eyes also remain completely free and both a pince-nez and glasses can be worn comfortably; the mask can also be designed for spectacle wearers. The whole face is enlivened in that, as mentioned, the mouth and eyes are unobstructed and the latter stand out more expressively.
The masking is done by applying make-up or painting the mask, if not by adding color to the rubber compound, e.g. B. with negro masks, the unrecognizability is already guaranteed. In order to design individual parts of the face differently, it is necessary to underlay something in the appropriate places. The mask can be specially made for comedians with wrinkled faces, so that make-up is not necessary for these cases. The mask described has a cooling effect for the wearer and is therefore comfortable to wear.
