   Der vorliegende Ofen hat den Zweck, lange Metallstäbe oder dgl. gleichmässig bis zum   Glühen zou   erhitzen, um sie dann biegen und weiter bearbeiten zu lönnen. Derselbe ist aus feuerfestem Material gemauert und besteht der Hauptsache nach aus einem mitten durch den Ofen gelegten Schamotterohr A (s. Zeichnung), in welches die Stäbe gelegt

 angebracht sind, und zwar so, dass das Rohr von allen Seiten vom Feuer bestrichen wird. Das Feuer zieht um das Rohr und schliesslich durch vier Abzugsschläuche C1, C2, C3, C4 in den Rauchfang D. Die vorliegende Erfindung besteht nun darin, dass die Mündungen   dieser Abxugschläuche   in den Raucbfang stufenweise angeordnet sind, also Schlauch C1 am höchsten, Schlauch   C4   am tiefsten.

   Diese Anordnung verhindert, dass der abziehende Rauch des einen Schlauches den Zug des anderen verlegt. Die Hitze im Schamotterohr wird durch ein Ventil E reguliert. Die Anzahl der Feuerungen sowie die Dimensionen des   ganzen Offns   können je nach Bedarf verändert gebaut werden.
