Der Gegenstand der Erfindung ist eine als Einzelbank benutzbare Mittelholmschulbank.
Die bekannten derartigen Bänke brauchen bei Aufstellung hintereinander eine doppelt so grosse Standfläche als die als Einzelbänke nicht benutzbaren Mittelholmschiil- bänke. Diesem Übelstand wird durch den Erfindungsgegenstand dadurch abgeholfen, dass die den Sitz tragenden Füsse aus starkem Metallblech von U-förmigem oder ähnlichem Querschnitt hergestellt werden, so dass sie um die Pultft1sse der dahinter stehenden Bank eng herumgreifen können, wodurch die Standfläche erheblich verringert und die Standfestigkeit der Bänke erhöht wird. Durch die herumgreifenden Sitzfüsse werden die Pultfüsse gegen Beschädigung geschützt, auch wird ein Absplittern des Holzes, wie es beim Verschieben der Bänke häufig vorkommt, verhindert.

Durch das schlüssige Ineinandergreifen der anstossenden Tisch-und Sitzfüsse zweier Bänke wird eine besondere Befestigung der anstossenden Bänke miteinander entweder ganz überflüssig oder aber eine solche ganz bedeutend entlastet.
Die Zeichnung stellt ein Ausführungsbeispiel der Erfindung dar.
Die Schulbank nach der Erfindung hat einen vollen, z. B. vierkantigen hölzernen Tischfuss a und einen aus U-förmigem Profileisen gebildeten Sitzfuss b, die beide solche Abmessungen haben, dass der Sitzfuss b über den Tischfuss a greifen kann. Die übrige Ausbildung der Bank kann beliebig sein.
Umgekehrt kann auch der Tischfuss aus Metallblech von U-förmigem oder ähnlichem Querschnitt und der Sitzfuss aus Holz hergestellt werden.
