Die vorliegende Erfindung bezieht sich auf eine Versteifung der Füsse von Stühlen und ähnlichen Möbeln, welche darin besteht, dass jeder Fuss mit dem Stuhlsitzrahmen oder dgl. durch einen besonderen, in Form eines Winkels gehaltenen und vorzugsweise aus Metall gefertigten Versteifungsbügel verbunden ist, derart, dass der Scheitel des Bügels an dem betreffenden Stuhlfuss, die als Versteifungsstreben dienenden Schenkel des Bügels aber zu beiden Seiten des Stuhlfusses an dem Stuhlsitzrahmes bofo & Hgt sind.

Die Scheitel oder Mitten dieser Biigel oder Winkel sind an dem zugehörigen Stuhlfuss, die als VersteifHngsstreben dienenden Schenkel der Winkel an dem Sitzrahmen befestigt, und zwar an Stellen, welche seitlich von dem zugehörigen Stuhlfuss liegen. Jeder Stuhlfuss ist also getrennt von den anderen durch einen besonderen Winkel mit dem Sitzrahmen verbunden und gegen diesen abgesteift, woraus sich eine ausserordentlich starre und verlässliche Verbindung zwischen Sitzrahmen und Stuhlfuss ergibt.
Die neue Winkelverbindung gewährt ausserdem den Vorteil, dass die ver- schiedenen Winkel sich nicht verziehen können, was sich bekanntlich bei Bügeln aus Holz als grosser Übelstand bemerkbar macht, sobald nämlich diese Bügel lose verpackt und ver- sandt werden und dass ferner die Winkel gegeneinander auswechselbar sind, also nicht besonders numeriert oder sonstwie gekennzeichnet zu sein brauchen, was wiederum für den Versand der Möbel in auseinander genommenem Zustande und für das Zusammensetzen derselben am Ankunftsorte einen sehr grossen Vorteil bietet.
