   Gegenstand der Erfindung ist ein Verfahren zum Dichten des Unterbodens bei Schuhwerk. 



  Durch dieses Verfahren wird verhindert, dass Nässe von unten in die Sohle des Schuhes usw. gelangt, und dass der Fuss namentlich im Winter von unten aus kalt wird. Es wird somit Schutz

   Die genannte Fettschicht besteht z. B. aus gleichen Teilen   Stearinöl,   gutem Talg und
Wachs, oder an Stelle des   Stearinöls   wird Birkenteeröl oder Glyzerinöl benutzt. Das Fett dringt, nachdem die beiden Sohlen mittels Nagelung oder Nähens vereinigt sind, in die Sohlen hinein und dringt sogar durch die Brandsohle hindurch. Beim Gehen gelangt so Fett zum Strumpf. 



   Dieses Verfahren lässt sich vorteilhaft benutzen, um   Gegenschweissmittel   (Salizylsäure-   präparate, Tannin o. dgl. ) mit dem Fett zugleich in die Brandsohle und zum Strumpf zu bringen.
