Forge mold.
EMI1.1
in the case of blown fires with a lower wind feed, the development of the fire upwards, which can be observed, is avoided. For this purpose, a frame covering the wind chamber is arranged at a smaller distance above the fire bowl, which extends into the fire bowl with a flange bent downwards, so that a narrow gap is created between this and the flange extending over the entire circumference of the fire bowl which the fan wind enters the fire.
EMI1.2
and in Fig. 3 in full lines a second fire bowl to be inserted into the fire bowl to fan a smaller fire is shown.

is provided for inserting the workpiece into the fire. In recesses in the frame plate, a round iron bar 16 can be displaced in the longitudinal direction of the forging mold, the cross bar 77 of which serves as a support for longer workpieces.
EMI2.1
inserted and placed a frame plate 19, which fits into the opening of the frame plate 11. The frame 19 is back with one in the fire bowl. M protruding flange 20 is provided, between which and the former a narrow gap 27 is created again.
In order to prevent mutual displacement of the fire bowl 18 and frame 19, both are connected at suitable points by webs or the like.
The wind emerging from the gap 13 into the space between the two fire bowls 10 and 18 passes through the gap 27 into the fire fanned in the small fire bowl 18. The opening of the cover plate 19 is again bounded at the top by a frame 22 similar to the frame 14 but correspondingly smaller.
In the forging mold according to FIG. 4, the fire bowl 23 is equipped at the upper edge with an annular channel 24 which extends over the entire circumference of the fire bowl and which is covered by the frame 2'5. This is again provided with the downwardly curved flange 26, which between itself and the fire bowl 2-3 leaves the narrow gap 27 extending over the entire length of the channel 24 free. The blower wind flows through the pipe 28 into the channel 24 and from there through the gap 27 into the fire.
It should also be noted that the narrow wind outflow gap is not on all four sides
EMI2.2
the same can be provided and possibly also be replaced by rows of holes.
It should also be visually mentioned that the two forging forms cited as examples do not exhaust the range of practical embodiments of the subject matter of the invention.
