    PlattfuBeinlage.

    Flat foot inlay.

The subject of the present invention is a flat foot insert which consists of a metal sheet with a celluloid coating on all sides.

The combination of metal and celluloid used to manufacture flat foot insoles in orthopedic technology offers many advantages. The embedded sheet metal gives the insert the necessary strength and elasticity, the celluloid coating
 EMI1.1

If, in spite of their happily complementary properties, metal and celluloid have so far only found limited use in orthopedic shoe technology, this was due to the difficulty in associating these two materials closely and permanently

the inevitable stresses on the sheet. The consequence of this was that the metal sheet was attacked by the rust-forming and corrosive effect of the sweat, so that the foot insert became unusable in a very short time.

This drawback is now eliminated by the present invention. The latter is shown in the drawing, namely Fig. L is the view from above of a flat foot insert, which is broken open so that partly the lower celluloid layer, partly the embedded sheet metal, partly the upper celluloid layer is visible. Furthermore, FIG. 2 shows the longitudinal section through the metal sheet and FIG. 3 shows the longitudinal section through the ready-to-use base insert.

In the figures, 1 denotes a flat tire insert. This consists of a metal sheet 2 which is provided with holes 3. Through the latter one connects according to
