Der Gegenstand der Erfindung bezieht sich auf einen Kompreseionszünder und ist, beispielsweise auf der Zeichnung in einem Längsschnitt veranschaulicht.
Der Zünder besteht aus dem Zylinder 3, in dem sich mit der Stirnwand gegeneinander gerichtete, mit Dichtungsringen versehene Kolben 4, 5 bewegen. Der Kolben 4 wird durch einen Exzenter von der Hauptwelle aus bewegt und ist mit einem nach innen sich öffnenden Ventil 6 versehen, durch das die zur Explosion nötige Luft in den Raum zwischen den beiden Kolben strömen kann.
Auf der Stirnwand des Kolbens 4 ist der Mitnehmer 7 angebracht, der, nachdem die Verdichtung die gewünschte Grösse erreicht hat, den zweiten Kolben 5 mitnimmt, durch den zuerst die Offnang des Röhrchens 1 und nachher die des Röhrchens 2 freigelegt wird, wobei durchs erste Rohr der Brennstoff in den Raum zwischen beide Kolben dringt und dort explodiert, worauf die dabei entstandenen Flammen durch das zweite Rohr in den Zylinder der Maschine hinüberschlagen und somit dort das Entzünden hervorrufen.

The igniter consists of the cylinder 3, in which pistons 4, 5, which are provided with sealing rings and are facing one another with the end wall, move.
